http://www.deezer.com/playlist/637896915The orchestra of Carlos Di Sarli might be better known for the beautiful, melodic and more downtempo recordings of the 1950's, but in 1940 (in between D'Arienzo's rule of pre-1940 and Troilo's recordings from 1941) it was Di Sarli who was recording some of the most funkiest and rhythmical uptempo instrumentals... ever! I like to think that if Osvaldo Pugliese would have recorded already in 1940 it would've sounded pretty much like these songs. Just the bandoneon variaciones are missing.

To purchace these songs in high quality I would recommend the fresh release of Carlos Di Sarli - El Jaguar from TangoTunes.com.
