4. Aníbal Troilo / Francisco Fiorentino - "Los mareados" 1942
A lot of DJ's are expanding their Troilo repertoire (me included) to feature vocals by Marino as well as Ruiz (...maybe soon Goyeneche even). For me the Troilo/Fiorentino combination is not only by far the best of all the above mentioned but also possibly out of all orchestra/singer collaborations, surpassing even Di Sarli/Rufino. There are more than plenty amazing recordings of different styles and moods to get creative and find the right songs to stay versatile. Any talk about Troilo/Fiorentino being over played is just nonsense.

A great tanda. How sad it is that these performances aren't available in better recording quality. Has anyone found a better release of Los mareados? The best of the eleven I've got is the one from Troilo Fiorentino Vol. 2 [00743217139025], but it is only just bearable.
